From June 11 to 22, 2023, the Training Institute of General Administration of Civil Protection of Egypt hosted the Structural Firefighting Training Course.
Organized jointly by the Arab Republic of Egypt and the International Civil Protection Organization (ICDO), the course was attended by 15 delegates from 9 ICDO member countries: Azerbaijan, Egypt, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Mongolia, Morocco and Senegal.
The course, whose objective was the exchange of experience, knowledge and skills in the field of structural firefighting course, delivered a set of theoretical lectures and specialized practical trainings in the field of structural firefighting "advanced level" implemented by a roster of civil protection experts affiliated with the Egyptian Ministry of Interior.
Participants had the privilege of practicing their skills in situations such as responding to burning buildings, extricating victims from rubble, responding to hydrocarbon fires, and working with new-generation fire extinguishing and rescue equipment.
At the end of the training, the learners were invited to share the knowledge they had acquired. 
All parties expressed the wish that the course should be continued. In view of the quality of the teaching provided.
The course ended with a general feeling of satisfaction on the part of the trainees, the Egyptian authorities and the ICDO.
