On July 3, 2023, the work of the 7th meeting of Directors General and Directors of Civil Defence of African member countries of the ICDO opened.
The meeting is taking place at the Radisson Blu in Niamey under the following theme: "Civil Defence without borders for a resilient Africa: The African platform"
The opening ceremony was punctuated by welcome speeches by the Secretary General of the ICDO, the Nigerien Minister of the Interior, the Director General of Civil Defence of Niger and the Governor of the Niamey region.
