On March 26^th, 2024, H.E. Ms. Larysa Belskaya, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus, undertook an official visit to meet with H.E. Ms. Mariatou Yap, the ICDO Secretary-General. This visit underscores the commitment of both parties to explore and enhance the framework of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus, an observer state of the Organization, and the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO).

During their discussions, they delved into avenues for strengthening collaboration. The dialogue marks a significant step toward bolstering the ties between Republic of Belarus and the ICDO, highlighting a shared dedication to advancing global civil defence mechanisms.
