From August 15 to 27, the XII International Diving Training successfully brought together professional rescue divers from various member states of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) at the Issyk-Kul Diving Training Center in the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic in close cooperation with the ICDO.

The official opening ceremony took place on August 16 in Cholpon-Ata. The training brought together experts from different regions, creating an international environment conducive to learning, sharing, and building cross-border cooperation in underwater rescue operations.

Over the course of 12 intensive days, participants engaged in a carefully designed training program that combined classroom-based theoretical instruction with rigorous in-water practical exercises.

The training also included simulation-based exercises aimed at testing the response capacity of divers in complex rescue scenarios. Special attention was paid to improving communication, enhancing interoperability, and promoting standardized approaches to underwater rescue across different national systems.

The program served as a vital platform for exchanging operational experiences and best practices in water-related emergencies. Beyond the technical training, the event helped strengthen professional networks, deepen mutual understanding, and reinforce the spirit of solidarity among the ICDO member states.
