The International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) refers to the ongoing humanitarian situation affecting civilians in the Gaza Strip and emphasizes its mandate to support initiatives that help address humanitarian needs wherever assistance is required.

In this context, the Secretary-General of the ICDO, Arguj Kalantarli, calls on all Member States to demonstrate solidarity and support the Organization’s humanitarian efforts aimed at providing assistance to the affected population.

The ICDO expresses its sincere appreciation to the competent authorities of the State of Israel for their constructive cooperation and for authorizing the delivery of humanitarian assistance through Israeli territory. This collaboration enables the Organization to ensure the safe, coordinated, and efficient transfer of aid to the population.

The ICDO reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the principles of neutrality, independence, and humanity, and will continue working closely with all partners to support civilians during this period.
