On 22 January, within the framework of his official visit to the State of Kuwait, the Secretary-General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), Mr. Arguj Kalantarli, also met with H.E. Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Al-Jarallah, Minister Plenipotentiary and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Organizations.

During the meeting, the parties held an in-depth exchange of views on the current state of relations and cooperation between the ICDO and the State of Kuwait, positively assessing the existing level of engagement and identifying new perspectives for further cooperation.

The discussions also highlighted the State of Kuwait’s continued support for humanitarian operations. In this context, the parties reviewed ICDO’s ongoing humanitarian projects implemented under the Organization’s humanitarian mandate.

The meeting further addressed other issues of mutual interest and concluded with an expression of confidence in the continued development and strengthening of cooperation.
