The Secretary-General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), H.E. Mr. Arguj Kalantarli, held an official meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), H.E. Mr. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, on 11 February at the ICDO Headquarters.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation and emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination and expanding cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on ICDO’s ongoing humanitarian activities and operational projects, as well as on potential areas for strengthening cooperation with relevant institutions of the OTS member states in civil defence, emergency preparedness, and related fields, in support of humanitarian efforts and capacity-building.

Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation and expressed confidence that the partnership between ICDO and the Organization of Turkic States would continue to develop in a constructive and mutually beneficial manner in the future.
