Minister IA Armenia

“Dear colleagues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system, dear citizens,

March 1 is marked as World Civil Defense Day. The significance of this day serves as an important reminder of the necessity of civil protection measures, symbolizing the state’s vital commitment to ensuring the safety of its citizens.

Civil protection is an essential component of our country’s resilience, and in this regard, the continuous development of the system remains at the center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ daily attention.

A culture of safety must become part of our way of life. The formula for having a strong civil protection system and a high level of public safety is one: every citizen must make a conscious contribution to this cause.

World Civil Defense Day is an opportunity to once again appreciate the contributions of all those who, with their professional skills and dedication, participate in shaping and continuously developing the system, thereby strengthening its stability and effectiveness.”

In addition, Armenia produced a video summarizing open lessons and training exercises held in 159 educational institutions across the country.
