The Permanent Secretariat of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) held a meeting with the Permanent Mission of Montenegro to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva.

During the meeting, a comprehensive overview of the Organization’s mandate, ongoing activities, and current reform efforts was provided, along with its initiatives aimed at strengthening and expanding international cooperation in the field of civil protection and disaster risk management.

The discussions focused on potential areas of collaboration, including the development of possible joint initiatives and the identification of priority areas of mutual interest. The importance of enhancing engagement and further consolidating institutional ties was also emphasized.

The meeting concluded with an expression of mutual interest in enhancing cooperation between the ICDO and Montenegro, as well as a shared commitment to exploring future collaborative opportunities.
