In the Republic of Ghana from 6 to 10 June 2022 a training was held by the IMCC ICDO on the topic “Intelligent monitoring technologies: risk monitoring and emergency tracking”.

The training was attended by 10 representatives from Republics of Ghana, Cameroon, Nigeria and South Sudan.

In accordance with the training program, the participants received theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the use of information technology in monitoring natural wildfires, modeling the possible consequences of floods, tracking information on earthquakes.

For the first time, a practical lesson on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) was included in the training program of the IMCC ICDO.

The training ended with the presentation of certificates by the Secretary General of the ICDO and the Director General of Civil Defense of the Republic of Ghana.
