His Excellency Mr. Paul Atanga Nji paid a working visit to the ICDO headquarters, accompanied by H.E. Mr. Anatole Fabien Nkou, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cameroon to the United Nations Office at Geneva, as well as Ms. Mariatou Yap, Director of the Cameroonian Civil Protection. The delegation was welcomed by the Acting Secretary-General Mr. Belkacem Elketroussi and his team, and the discussions focused on the strengthening of the cooperation between the ICDO International Monitoring and Coordination Centre (IMCC) and the Cameroonian National Centre for Disaster Management, as well as the support to the Civil Protection Directorate by the sending of a Mobile Training Team for a national workshop focusing on disaster prevention issues.
