On 9 November 2018, ICDO Interim Secretary-General Mr. Belkacem Elketroussi welcomed Mr. Gye Myoung Choi, Director General of the Emergency Preparedness Policy Bureau of South Korea at the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat. Several elements of mutual interest were discussed, perhaps, most importantly the consideration of a Korean official secondment to ICDO and to the IMCC. Both parties exchanged ideas on the possibility of starting joint programs, workshops, and meeting that concern the field training and its dimensions.
