Trainings ICDO Admin

From 12 to 17 July 2025, the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO), in cooperation with the General Administration of Civil Protection (GACP) of the Ministry of Interior of Egypt, organized a practical training course on Diving and Water Rescue in Cairo.

Held at the Water Rescue Administration and on the Nile River, the course included a series of technical lectures and hands-on sessions focused on underwater rescue operations. The training was conducted in Arabic and English and aimed at improving the operational skills of professional rescue divers.

A total of 15 participants took part, including 10 representatives from ICDO member states (Algeria, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Korea, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Serbia) and 5 from Egypt.

The ICDO covered travel and accommodation costs, while GACP provided all necessary training equipment and medical support.

This training reinforced ICDO’s ongoing efforts to enhance the professional capacities of emergency services through international cooperation and technical education.
