Road Accident Management Course Launched in Jordan

The Civil Defence Training City / Jordanian International Civil Protection Center hosted its specialized Road Accident Management Course, aimed at strengthening the capabilities of emergency responders in effectively dealing with road traffic incidents. The course began on 6 May 2026 and reflects ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and improve emergency response preparedness.

The opening ceremony was attended by Colonel Ahmad Naimat, Commander of the Civil Defence Training City, and Lieutenant Colonel Moawiyah AlDaboubi, Director of the Jordanian International Civil Protection Center. During the event, emphasis was placed on the importance of applying effective methods in road accident management, improving communication procedures, and ensuring coordinated response mechanisms between emergency services and relevant authorities.

The intensive training program was designed to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills related to road accident response. Key topics included identifying accident causes, strengthening coordination between Civil Defence centers, traffic departments, and hospitals, as well as enhancing operational preparedness through planning and joint activities.

The course brought together 20 participants from Libya and 5 representatives of the Jordanian Civil Defence Department, creating an important platform for the exchange of expertise and professional experience in the field of emergency response.

The graduation ceremony for participants is scheduled for 17 May 2026 under the patronage of the Director of Operations and Training.
