23 July-4 August 2018: Kyrgyzstan. A practical and theoretical training course on mountain rescue was held at the State Center for Rescuers’ Training of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. The participants acquired the necessary knowledge and skills for performing rescue operations in mountainous terrain and for the evacuation of victims. In addition, field exercises were organized in the Ak-sai and Ala-Archa gorges, including a trek up to the Ratseka base camp, located at an altitude of 3200 m., on the slopes below the Uchitel Peak.
