On April 10, a meeting took place between the Acting Secretary-General of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) and the Director General of Civil Defence of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting addressed issues related to the functioning of the ICDO Secretariat, regional cooperation, and future work plans between ICDO and Saudi Arabia.

Both parties emphasized the importance of enhancing collaborative efforts to strengthen regional capabilities in civil defence and emergency preparedness, and agreed on further cooperation and coordination.
