From 29 September to 10 October 2025, the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) conducted an international training course at the branch of the Institute for Advanced Training of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. Specialists from ten countries — Azerbaijan, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Pakistan, Russia, and Syria — took part in the program.
The course focused on the organization and conduct of rescue operations during emergencies involving electric vehicles and their analogues. Participants practiced key operational skills, including vehicle stabilization, power isolation, victim extrication, fire suppression, and battery cooling. Special attention was given to advanced technologies and equipment, including electric mining dump trucks and electric public transport developed in the Republic of Belarus.
The training represented a significant contribution to the professional development of ICDO specialists and to strengthening international cooperation in responding to emergencies related to electric vehicle operations.
