Incident Command System Level 1 Course Concludes in Jordan

The Civil Defence Training City / Jordanian International Civil Protection Center successfully concluded its Incident Command System – Level 1 Course, a specialized training program aimed at developing highly capable and effective leaders in emergency response operations. The course, which began on 6 May 2026, reflects the continued commitment of the Jordanian Civil Defence to strengthening operational excellence and humanitarian service.

The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Colonel Ahmad Naimat, Commander of the Civil Defence Training City, while the program was supervised by Lieutenant Colonel Moawiyah Al-Daboubi, Director of the Jordanian International Civil Protection Center. Throughout the course, emphasis was placed on the critical role of incident commanders in managing complex emergencies, making informed decisions, and ensuring effective coordination and resource management.

The comprehensive curriculum focused on strengthening leadership skills, operational discipline, and professional responsibility in emergency management. The course brought together 18 participants from Libya and 4 representatives of the Jordanian Civil Defence Department, creating a productive environment for professional exchange and joint learning.

The graduation ceremony was held on 17 May 2026 under the patronage of the Director of Operations and Training, marking the successful completion of the program and the preparation of a new group of qualified incident commanders.
