In accordance with the 15th decision of the 54th session of the Executive Council, the Secretary General of ICDO H.E. Mariatou Yap took a part in XXII International Conference of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan) from 12 to 16 November.

The representatives from 28 countries discussed the development of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, international cooperation, as well as the organization and holding of next year's World Championships in fire and rescue sport.

The President of the International Sports Federation of Fire Rescuers Alexander Chupriyan noted the importance of the global movement of fire and rescue sport in the international arena.
