On April 6-7, the Safe Arctic 2023 experimental research exercises were held in 9 regions of the Russian Arctic, in which more than 3.5 thousand specialists and 650 pieces of equipment took part.

This was reported by the press office of the Russian chairmanship in the Arctic Council. For 2 days of training in practice, 110 tasks for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations were solved.

Among the spectators were representatives of 16 states.

During the event, practical actions for assistance from the air, on water, underground and on the surface were worked out.
Representatives of more than 20 federal executive bodies, 10 business entities, employees of 2 state corporations took part in the experimental research exercise.
